A month ago, I was 'disappeared' from many of my previous Substack readers.
Substack did an ‘audit’ (stripping) of my newsletter list by suspending
publication and then pretended to be me while sending an email that asked
everyone to re-subscribe. It looked like spam - I would not have responded
myself!
According to Substack analytics, I lost about 600 regular readers, most of which
had been on my list for more than 5 years, many for ten years. It decimated a
community of kindred souls who had been like extended family.
