To Whom It May Concern: 

I had the pleasure of meeting Simone Awhina at the “Holistic Gathering” held in Sheridan, Wyoming from June 1st to the 3rd, 2007.  I was offering massage to the attendees of the gathering.  My table was set-up very close to where Simone was offering sound therapy.  I observed that as I worked on clients while Simone was performing a sound treatment, the client on my table became deeply relaxed very quickly.  This was the first time I had a session with these client so this was an unusual response by the client.  Having observed this response repeatedly by my clients I decided to get a treatment from Simone myself. 

While setting up for this event, I lifted boxes that were very heavy and I hurt my back.  I requested that Simone treat my back pain so that I would be able to offer massage for the remainder of the weekend.  I noticed that the pain was relieved at the beginning of our session, which made sitting and receiving the rest of the healing much more comfortable for me.  At the end of the session I was not only pain free but, to my delight, I had a huge increase in energy. 

 I have suffered from insomnia my entire life.  My mother would tell stories of midnight car rides to get me to sleep.  My family became accustomed to my midnight ramblings about the house.  I have tried countless remedies for insomnia, all to no avail.  The night of my treatment from Simone three very unusual things for me happened:  1) I was tired and ready for bed prior to midnight; 2) I fell right to sleep when I went to bed; and 3) I slept through the entire night without waking.  I am delighted to report that this treatment lasted for many months.

I also had the opportunity to go to Simone’s concert in Sheridan.  I brought an elderly client on mine who had been very depressed over failing health.  At the conclusion of the concert it was as if a cloud had lifted from my client.  She was happy, energetic and engaged with others in the audience.

I have had many opportunities to work with therapists.  I have attended a large variety of events where these therapists provide their services.  I have never attended an event where the energy in the room was so positively charged.  I shared this observation with other vendors and the event planner.  All agreed that it was Simone who brought this energy with her unique sounds that filled the rooms.

It is for all of these reasons and many more that I recommend that Simone remain in the United States.

I am writing to offer my testimonial for Simone Awhina, with regards to the value of her continuing service of healing and encouragement to individuals and groups in the United States.

I was honored to have the opportunity to meet Simone Awhina in July 2004 during her one and only appearance in Canada. She has the distinction of being my first official guest for my radio show  "Living on Purpose".

I have been kept up to date on the development of her talents and service by her e-mail announcements during her extensive travels in the United States since the granting of her VISA almost 3 years ago. I continue to be impressed with her unique and energetic expression of courage that she shares both through her inspirational performances, and through her sound healing workshops.

I have met numerous healers and vocalists over many years and to me, Simone Awhina stands in a class all her own.

Her willingness to transform her personal experience of grief, loss and rediscovery of purpose through song and performance has created a ground-breaking healing style. After witnessing her performance on Vancouver Island in Canada, I also attended her healing sound workshop, and again, found it to be transformative and unlike anything I had previously experienced. I am aware that her talents have developed and deepened through  these years of service in the United States.

I can say with confidence that Simone Awhina offers a unique service that will continue to benefit increasing numbers of the American population once it is resoundingly affirmed that this country needs her ongoing presence.

When I met Simone I was in deep depression.  Her voice and her music helped me to recover.  I was able to recover with out the use of drugs and expensive psycho therapy. 

I had no idea of the healing power of sound and music.  No where had I ever been exposed to such healing.  If more people in the United States could be exposed to this type of healing I truly believe that crime would go down and that the use of illegal drugs would also diminish.  Healing with sound is a new and unheard of healing approach in the United States.  I think we all could learn and be a stronger culture and Nation because of Simone's teachings.  Talent like hers should not be denied in this country.

I am Jane Myers and I am developing a new I-net Radio station called "Mind Mastery Radio".  I promote authors, mentors, coaches, musicians and other experts whose books, music, audio/video's, seminars, or tools "Raise the Positive and Beyond of Thinking." 

It's both talk and music.  I am personally hand-picking, if you will, my musicians and all others. The main reason I had chosen to contact Simone was because of her unique talents and gifts, her special tone qualities in particular, got my attention immediately. 

Of all of the musicians I have interviewed, she has the "Special Quality" that no one else has.  One of my goals is to sponsor a seminar (seminars) here in my local area in the next year.

On behalf of Simone Awhina, I have experienced an "awakening"  from listening to all of her music.  I have studied the effects of tones, frequencies, and beats and know how they can actually transform brain function and thought patterns. There is plenty of scientific proof for that.  

Simone has a unique tone to her voice that opens the hearts and minds and aids in the balance and/or harmony of her listeners, thus creating healing, feelings of well-being, happiness joy, and love, which results in a positive energy flow.  Her "tone" quality is almost supernatural!  I know, I have experienced the results.  Simone's "Transformational" CD is another excellent example of her gift, and I know she "MUST" share.    

This inspiration for success in all areas of our  lives can be attained when listening to her music. It opens our hearts, our minds, and feeds to the love we must give and receive.  

 We truly need this stimulus of her tone quality to help us in all areas of our lives.

As I listen to her, her voice, so smooth, yet radiant and powerful, I'm filled with a peace that is invigorating, yet relaxing.  This kind of quality is very rare.  I have been involved in the entertainment/ music business for 30 years and from my experience I knew Simone had a precious gift that truly needs to be exposed and shared.  Through my radio station and me personally, I will promote her because I have seen "Needs" that only she can assist!  She is part of my agenda for future promotions and seminars. 

Simone is a gift and a blessing!  I am SO grateful that we were brought together.
