WikiLeaks and the Last Frontier

At the heart of the WikiLeaks saga is the love of freedom, the unstoppable power of decentralized grass roots (Net roots) devotion to open government, transparency in public decision making processes, and the accountability of public officials for criminal cover-ups.

Regardless of the controversies, the WikiLeaks disclosures benefit democracy. One web comment articulates this most succinctly: "Secrecy is the cloak behind which too many crimes are hidden these days."

The entire WikiLeaks drama can be summed up as a global mass movement away from highly centralized, top-down, one-way mass programming of the mass media's mass mind... and TOWARDS highly decentralized, bottom up, multi-directional mass-to-mass interaction as will culture social Conscience in our ubiquitous social networks.

Let's face it folks, the elimination of time, space and 'relativity' in our new instant-everywhere and interactive Internet world has created some problems. We've still got a horse-and-buggy legislative system that has been co-opted by modern day robber barons. They're losing control. They don't know what to do. So they're doing what they've always done yet expecting different results. That system is sick, insane and otherwise broken -- it doesn't work anymore. A black swan event (unpredictable systemic change) is needed. Believe it or not, it's happening right before your information-overloaded eyeballs. And yet most of you reading this won't see web 3.0 emerge until after it happens, just as most of you didn't catch the wave of the Internet revolution until long after it began.

First of all, before I elucidate the next big phase of the computer/Internet revolution (after hardware, software and netware), let's be charitable this Christmas season. Let's agree to forgive the paradigm paralysis and stinking thinking which we've gone along with to this point.

Forgiving the past is the best way to get past the past
and to embrace the future we all want.

A new model of public representation -- utilizing the full potential of secure Internet connections -- will make our horse-and-buggy representation system obsolete. The old model is clearly unresponsive; no longer serving well the optimal purpose of pubic response ability it was created to serve. People can be represented more directly now. The only reason it hasn't happened yet is because there are powerful special interests which have a vested interest in keeping this common sense of optimal purpose uncommon.

Obviously, a global evolution revolution in higher Conscience makes obsolete the fear-based tactics of terror war. The love of freedom is the Higher Power behind this Conscience. The power of love is the Higher Wisdom behind this Conscience. And there's nothing more powerful than this wisdom for social Conscience at the heart of our ubiquitous social networks.

Heartware at the heart of web 3.0

The natural evolution of the computer/Internet revolution will transform the methods of doing business in all our core social, political and economic institutions. Non-profit public service will naturally evolve to take precedence when information is liberated from closed, secret special interests (in government, media, education, health care, banking, etc.) which give precedence to keeping truth and power FROM the public rather than of, by and for the people.

Web 3.0 is the next generation of the accelerated computer/Internet revolution
from "the computer is the network" to "the network has a Conscience".
We've all seen how this Net reality revolution has proceeded from an emphasis
on hardware (IBM mainframes) to software (Microsoft desktops), and then to
netware (Netscape networks). Now witness heartware (Heartcom.org Services).

The wiki model of public participation for a process of providing INFORMED CHOICE is not the problem. Freedom to know better -- so we can do better -- is not the enemy. The problem and real enemy of freedom and opportunity is systemic "DUH" (Dummies, Unconscious & Heartless).

Dumb because we've been lied to so much
that we believe the lies.
Unconscious because we have a habit of
ignoring so much betrayal.
Heartless because our lying eyes are
"Bereft of Spirituality" (BS).

DUH is compounded by FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt). FUD and DUH are like two evil sisters who conspire to make everyone as miserable as they are. But the only power they have is the power we give them. Their greatest fear is if enough good people in good Conscience will wise up and rise up with fearless faith that makes faithless fear obsolete.

TWO WAYS TO SEE THE GLOBAL HEALING CRISIS

THE "HIGH" WAY
(Higher Insights for Global Healing)
OR THE "DUH" WAY
(Dummies Unconscious & Heartless)

1 - THE 'HIGH' WAY: There's an opportunity with this problem.
The science and know-how for self-correction in our core
economic, political and social institutions is far more simple
than the convoluted, fork-tongued, two-faced doublespeak
that tells us it is too complex for us to understand.
The real gold standard for the Next Economy will be
the currency of Conscience that cultures an awareness
of the opportunity to heal all our core institutions with
the abundance Conscience which can be systemically
nurtured, networked and otherwise cultured by way of
decentralized, grassroots (Net roots), networking
optimized via heartware cyberEthics.

2 - THE 'DUH' WAY: There's a problem with this opportunity.
Prevailing "BS" (Belief Systems of a DUH nature) are tenacious
like the tentacles of an octopus strangling our common sense.
Many people prefer the Big Lie rather than the Whole Truth.
These people want to believe that the system works and that
it represents our best interests, but they lie to themselves.
The DUH mindset revolves the victim dictum that accepts
disinformation, dis-ease, dysfunction and disintegration in
social institutions for lack of conscientious common sense.
Indeed, the poor in Spirit (Conscience) are always with us,
seeing the problem with this opportunity (victory virtues)
because of their DUH habit of victim dictum.

Global civilization is going through an identity crisis right now. Some would call it a kind of bipolar disorder or split personality... like a teenager who is not a child anymore yet not an adult either. The prevailing consciousness of this 'teenager' (Net reality), portends the future of global humanity. But this teenager has yet to spread its wings. The problem is certain 'adults' who want to clip those wings and keep this 'teenager' grounded.

Those 'adults' represent status quo inertia,
no change in prevailing paradigm paralysis.

Obviously, there will be no change with the same consciousness that created the systemic healing crisis. To do what we've always done, yet expect different results, is a good definition of insanity. We have the divine right to do what the poor in spirit are not able or willing to do.

The heart of our five core Constitutional rights is the currency of Conscience. Upgrade those rights with heartware and the evolution revolution will naturally fulfill globally what U.S. Founders began locally.
